Frequently asked questions

What data is included?
We collect new business registrations from state and provincial registries. Each filing includes business name, entity type, filing date, state, status, filing number and principal city where the registry provides it. We do not provide registered agent names, street addresses, owner names, emails or phone numbers.
How fresh is the data?
We check each source on a schedule. Florida, New York, Colorado, Connecticut, DC and British Columbia update daily, Oregon weekly, Iowa and Pennsylvania monthly. Freshness depends on when the state publishes. Texas and Pennsylvania cover only part of new formations, Virginia is historical only, and Ohio is paused while its source is unavailable.
Can I export data?
CSV export is available on every paid plan (Starter, Growth and Enterprise), up to each plan's row limit per download, shown on each plan above. Every paid plan also includes API access for integration with your CRM or marketing tools, with the jurisdiction, row and rate limits shown on each plan.
Do you offer a free trial?
Search is free. Paid plans add daily email alerts, bulk exports and API access.
